Sales of a charity calender - featuring the four legged mascot of a north Norfolk school - went through the ‘woof’ after it was featured in the North Norfolk News.

We covered the story of furry pin up Benson, the much-loved Labrador that is a familiar face around Gresham’s in Holt, and sales of his almanac have now raised £1,000.

The money will be split between Help for Heroes and Walking with the Wounded.

Benson’s owner Colin Scoles, who helps run the shooting club and Combined Cadet Force at Gresham’s, said: “I would like to express my thanks to all who supported this worthwhile cause, and also to Glenn Carr at Jet Print who again produced the calendars at a competitive price.”
