Hemsby man appears at Norwich Magistrates Court to plead not guilty of assault

A trial date has been set after a Hemsby man pleaded not guilty to a charge of assault.

Glen Burns, 28, of Beach Road, appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court this morning for a plea and case management hearing.

He is accused of assaulting a woman on Monday, June 11 of this year but denies it.

Burns was given conditional bail and ordered to return to the same court on Tuesday, July 31 for the trial.
