Heavy rain causes crashes on Norfolk’s roads

There were three car crashes at rush hour this evening as traffic struggled in a sudden downpour.

Shortly after 5pm a Ford Ka hit the central reservation on the A47 by Postwick, causing delays.

Police were called to clear debris off the road.

Just before 5pm there was an accident between two cars on the A146 at Trowse Newton.

By the A140 Cromer Road at Stratton Strawless, a lorry and a Mazda collided, bringing traffic to a halt at around 5.20pm.
