Flying medics anaesthetised a man in his 50s who collapsed at an address in Wisbech this afternoon, before he was taken to hospital.
Magpas Helimedix said they were requested to attend by an ambulance crew at 4pm after the man collapsed, struggled to regain full consciousness and appeared disorientated.
“The Magpas team anaesthetised the patient at the scene and then accompanied him to Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn, in a land ambulance, for further investigation,” Magpas said in a statement. “On arrival at the hospital, the man was in a serious but stable condition.”
Police in Norwich have launched an investigation after a woman claimed in a tweet she had knocked a cyclist off their bike.
