A super slimmer who inspired her four sisters to shed the pounds is now set to run her own slimming group.

Mum-of-two Sarah Letzer, 30, managed to lose six stone and shrink six dress sizes from 22 to 10 in 18 months, firstly on her own and then with help from the North Walsham Slimming World Group.

Mrs Letzer, from Swanton Abbott did so well, her four sisters, Helen Jarvis, 32, from Marsham, Emily Jarvis, 27, from Felmingham, Samantha Jarvis, 21, and Tiffany Jarvis, 15, both from Aylsham, were all inspired to join the group and lose weight themselves.

Speaking about why she decided to join the group, Ms Letzer said: “My weight piled on during my pregnancy and as a young mum I struggled to lose my pregnancy weight and my self-confidence was at an all time low. My asthma was also very bad and I was regularly using inhalers and taking steroids.”

The turning point came with plans to marry her partner of 11 years, Ben, on her 30th birthday.

“I bought my wedding dress four sizes too small and managed to lose one-and-a-half stone on my own, but lost motivation after this,” she explained.

Sarah joined the slimming group, followed the diet, and increased her physical activity by walking and running regularly and taking up swimming.

Speaking about her sisters’ success she said: “I am so proud of their fabulous achievements. We love our group so much, the support, inspiration and encouragement we receive is amazing.”

Now Mrs Letzer is set to re-launch the Aylsham Slimming World group, which will meet at St Michaels Nursery School, School House Lane, Blickling Road, Aylsham on Wednesday, August 1. Sessions will be held at 5.30pm and 7.30pm. For further information, contact Sarah on 01692 538872.
