Comfort boxes designed to make dealing with breast cancer a little bit easier have been rolled out to women undergoing treatment at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH).

Oa Hackett, 31, from Bawburgh, was told she had primary breast cancer in July 2014 - and as part of her therapy had six gruelling rounds of chemotherapy at the NNUH.

But the trauma of the treatments was softened, she said, by the support she had from friends and family who would often send her care packages and gifts.

Now, her vision of every woman diagnosed with breast cancer receiving similar pick-me-up boxes has been recognised, under the banner of her charity Littlelifts.

On December 4, the charity will hold a fundraising coffee and cake morning, at Stoke Holy Cross church hall in Norwich Road.

The event, from 9am to 11am, will include a festive raffle, mince pies, and Tropic products.
