A north Norfolk farm shop is promoting healthy food and healthy bodies by sponsoring a community gym.

A G Meale and Sons is sponsoring an exercise bike, one of the vital pieces of equipment that enables Neatishead community gym, a not-for-profit facility, to keep going and provide a valuable, much-loved service to people in the area.

The family firm grows much of the food it sells in its farm shop and nurseries which are situated on the A149 road at Wayford, near Stalham.

David Meale, director and son of the founder of A G Meale and Sons, said the firm was dedicated to selling fresh, wholesome, locally grown farm produce which went “hand in hand with the gym’s efforts to keep local people healthy and fit”.

He added: “We wanted to support the local gym and its work keeping people in the area fit and healthy.”
