Norfolk county councillor Dan Roper who is chairman of the Norfolk Health and Wellbeing Board, which provided some of the funding for the Healthy Communities project, said: “This event is an excellent way to bring lots of services and therefore information and advice all together in one place for the benefit of local people.

“The first event held in Cromer in November proved to be a success and, with the additions of more interactive activities, hopefully more people will come along and find out more about health and wellbeing services and support in their area.”

Richard Wiseman, educational road safety officer at Norfolk County Council, said: “Getting out and about to spread the road safety message is an important part of what we do. Living a healthier, happier life includes safe road use so we’re pleased to be attending the event to fly the safety flag and promote road safety education.

“We’ll have some interactive demos and props targeted specifically at children to really help get the safety message across. We’ve had a good response at events like this in the past so I hope once again people will come away feeling they have picked up some valuable information.”

The chairman of Norfolk County Council, Hilary Cox, will be among the special guests supporting the event.
