Five fire engines called to Norwich hospital

Fire crews from five stations were called to a fire just off Denton Ward at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital this morning.
Carrow, Sprowston, Earlham, Hethersett and Wymondham vehicles went to the hospital on Colney Lane at 8.30am after reports of a fire in a light fitting on the Orthopedic ward.
A spokesperson for Norfolk Fire said the fire had already been put out on arrival and the ward did not need to be evacuated.
