A street collection and table top sale was held in Beccles on January 26, with £442.92 raised in only four hours.

Gary Bennett, from the Lauren Lou appeal, said: 'On a freezing cold morning my awesome volunteers Stood Up to Cancer and the kind donating public gave so generously. We also met Dave Johnson, of D Johnson piano services, who has just agreed a one-year sponsorship deal to help us keep the pink cancer fundraising car on the road. We are absolutely proud of Dave for coming on board and supporting what we do in our local community.'

Last Friday, February 2 a table top sale and collection was held inside the Tesco Metro store in London Road North, with a tombola and bucket collection held in Lowestoft town centre. A 'phenomenal amount' of £694.16 was raised for the group's local cancer appeals fund.
