Residents are invited to choose the replacement play equipment to be installed at Priory Gardens, off Gorleston’s High Street.

There was a climbing frame at this small public space for many years, but this was removed recently because Great Yarmouth Borough Council officers said it was becoming unsafe.

Now the authority is asking the public to decide which type of play equipment should be provided for toddlers at the site.

There is only room for one or maybe two pieces.

Council officers will be at the site to hear people’s views on Monday, December 16, between 3pm and 4pm.

Residents will be able to see pictures of the options and use stickers to vote for their preference.

The piece or pieces with the most votes will be ordered for installation next year.

Those who are unable to attend should send their comments by noon on Wednesday, December 18 to Valerie Cadmore, Play and Leisure Officer, Maritime House, 25 Marine Parade, Great Yarmouth, NR30 2EN or email vac@great-yarmouth.gov.uk
