Handbag and sat nav stolen in Great Yarmouth and Gorleston car thefts

POLICE are appealing for information after two thefts from cars in Gorleston and Great Yarmouth at the weekend.

In the first incident a handbag was stolen from a green Peugeot parked in Beccles Road, Gorleston between 4.30pm and 5.15pm on Saturday. The car had been left briefly unattended but when the driver returned she discovered her bag had been taken.

It was later found by a member of the public in a bin in Kalmia Green. Cash and a bank card had been taken.

In the Great Yarmouth incident a sat nav system was stolen from a Smart car parked in an alleyway at South Market Road. The car was broken into between 1.30pm and 3.30pm on Saturday.

Anyone with information about either theft is asked to call police on 101.
