Great Yarmouth murder detectives hold two men after European Arrest Warrants executed

Two Lithuanian nationals have been arrested in connection with a Great Yarmouth murder investigation.
Paulius Jakovlevas, 38, was found dead in a stairwell at a Wellesley Road house of multiple occupation on Monday, November 11.
Detectives probing his death executed two European Arrest Warrants before two men were taken into custody.
Algirdas Pocius, a 46-year-old Lithuanian national and Mantas Staponka, a 24-year-old Lithuanian national, were taken into custody yesterday (Tuesday).
They have both been charged with murder and were due to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court this morning (Wednesday).
There have now been five arrests in connection with the investigation.
Victim Mr Jakovlevas was a foreign national who had been living in the Yarmouth area since August 2013.
Post mortem examinations show that he is believed to have died from severe head injuries.
