Nearly 50 people took part in a celebration in Gorleston of the bicentenary of the birth of Baha'u'llah, the prophet founder of the Baha'i Faith, the world's youngest religion.
Born in Iran in 1817, Baha'u'llah taught the principles of unity and world peace.
The Gorleston celebration on Sunday consisted of a Unity Walk from the boating pond to the seafront followed by a presentation in the Cliff Hotel where a film was screened and a large cake was shared.
Organisers said a mixture of Baha'is and local people participated, and new friendships were forged.
After the walk, three speakers described the history, teachings and present day activities of the Baha'i Faith. The cake was decorated with a picture of the world surrounded by a quote from Baha'u'llah saying 'So powerful is the light of unity it can illuminate the whole earth'. There are 7 million Baha'is across the world.
