Following the great popularity of our GoGoDragons! sticker album celebrating the charity art trail through Norwich, the city venue today hosted an event for collectors to trade their swaps.

Hundreds of people went to the event armed with their surplus stickers and lists of those they still needed to complete their books.

'It was absolutely crazy but so much fun,' said Sarah Salmon, duty manager and event coordinator at the library.

'The dragons have just been brilliant, everyone loves them and we love having six of the baby dragons here in the library.'

Among the sticker collectors taking part were Megan and Iwan Cary, 15 and 12, from Wymondham. They were there with their mum, Teresa, and were delighted to find all the stickers they needed.

About the album, Megan said: 'I think it's good because you get to collect all the dragons and remember what they look like.'

Nine-year-old twins Jazmine and Tazmine Parfitt, from Norwich, were also there with their mum Karina and they snapped up their final stickers to complete their books.

'I like all the dragons because all of them are different and pretty,' Tazmine said.

Other people to complete their sticker albums were Lil and Lloyd Slaughter, nine and seven, from Mulbarton, who were with their mum Louise. They had so many stickers left over that they donated them to their friends Janie and Charlie Collins, nine and seven, from Norwich, who with the help of their grandmother Helen Dorday, filled up their album in just one day yesterday.

David Galletly, circulation sales manager (Norfolk) for EDP and Evening News' publisher Archant, said: 'We are delighted with how popular the GoGoDragons! sticker album has been, and that so many people enjoyed the event and were able to complete their albums.'

The GoGoDragons! trail has been brought to Norwich by children's charity Break and Wild in Art. It features 84 dragons that have been created by local artists and sponsored by local organisations. There is also a trail of 120 baby dragons. Visit www.gogodragons.co.uk
