Mandy Periam, from Golden Pightle, said: “The blackbird has been nesting in our garden about a week. We first spotted something unusual about the male blackbird, which has a white rim around its eye. The male has a bit of ginger in him, but the female is all ginger. We will have to wait and see what colour their babies are.”

  • I think that's a male, not a female.I'm pretty sure that only the male has a yellow beak.
