The popular Cromer New Year’s Day fireworks photography competition is returning this year.

Anyone can enter the contest, from amateurs and children to adults and professionals.

The competition, sponsored by Bennetts in Cromer, will be split into two age groups – adults and juniors. Within the junior section there will be two categories which will be 11 years and under and 12-16 years.

It was launched during the 2013 New Year’s Day event and the winner was Mark Bunning, second place went to Katherine Hodgson and third place went to Patrick Hudgell.

The winner of the adult category will have their image turned into the official poster for the 2015 New Year’s Day Firework event and win a Toshiba tablet package worth £300.

The winner of the 12-16 years category will win a Nexus tablet worth £180 and the winner of the 11 years and under category will receive a Scroll 4” tablet worth £55, all supplied by Bennetts.

All photographs must be sent in by email as a JPEG or by hard copy, size 7X5, before midnight on January 15. Only one photograph can be sent by email to fireworks@cromertown.org.

Postal copies can be sent to Firework Photography Competition, c/o Cromer Town Council Offices, North Lodge, Overstrand Road, Cromer, Norfolk, NR27 0AH.
