Norfolk could be battered by gale force winds on Sunday morning, the Met Office has warned.
Forecasters have warned that gale or severe gale force westerly or southwesterly winds could hit parts of the region from midnight.
The Met Office has issued what is know as a yellow alert of wind for an area which takes in Norwich, parts of South Norfolk and parts of the coast, including Great Yarmouth.
Winds could reach up to 70mph on the coast and up to 60mph inland.
The Met Office said the public should be aware of difficult driving conditions and the risk of damage to trees.
Nearly 3,000 people have supported a Facebook campaign demanding safety improvements on the A47 near Dereham set up after the latest fatal crash.

Gales are good, they shut down the wind turbines and therefore make our electricity cheaper!!

Yes - got it wrong again. Bit windy but nothing like the gloom and doom the BBC were predicting in their local forecast yesterday.

The weather forecasts by the Met Office for the North Norfolk Coast are a joke. I've emailed them many times to say they got it wrong, but they just stick their collective heads in the sand

Since Weatherquest lost their contract with Radio Norfolk and Look East our local forecasts have been done by a hub in London they have become spectacularly inaccurate. Lets just hope they got it wrong again or we are in for a very windy night.
