Four vehicles were involved in an accident and one car ended up in a field, after a collision near Horsford this morning.

A Norfolk police spokesman said that the crash happened at about 9.45am on the B1149.

One woman driver was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with non-serious injuries, and another female also received slight injuries.

Fire crews from Sprowston and Carrow attended and provided services on scene, making the vehicle and scene safe.

Anyone with information should call the road policing department on 101.
