A four-year-old boy from Griston was taken to hospital with burns and scalds.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) and paramedics were called to Manor Road just after 5.20pm yesterday.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said the child had scalded himself in boiling water and had burns on his head.
She added the injuries were not life-threatening, although he was in a lot of pain.
The boy was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital by land ambulance, which was followed by a rapid response vehicle.
The Anglia One crew from the EAAA was called and the team assisted with initial treatment before the four year old was left in the care of paramedics.
