A former Norfolk police officer has been cleared of 13 sexual offences against children.

John Clack, 53, of Earlham Court, Norwich, was found not guilty of the charges after a trial at Norwich Crown Court. The jury returned the verdicts yesterday.

The offences were alleged to have occurred between 1997 and 2004.

Mr Clack had denied the allegations.
