Misty murky weather shrouded the streets of Cromer yesterday, giving the town’s historic streets a Victorian thriller book chill for most of day while the rest of the county basked in autumn sunshine.

The resort was not alone in the region - as parts of Cambridgeshire, north Essex and Felixstowe suffered a similar fate because they had slightly higher moisture content in the air, and no wind to “mix it up,” said forecaster Chris Bell from Weatherquest.
