A church which could become well known to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge is holding a flower festival this weekend.
St Mary’s Church in Amner, is just a stone’s throw away from Amner Hall - hotly tipped to become home to William, Kate and Prince George.
The festival, in it’s second year, has a theme - Name That Tune. Twenty-four flower arrangements will hold the clues to different songs.
Organiser Yvonne Browne explained: “For a £1.00, visitors can enter a competition and guess the song and get an extra point for the singer. Then the scores will be collected and the winner will win a gardening voucher.”
There are nine flower arrangers that are busy preparing the church for this weekend.
There is no entry fee and there will be a tombola, crafts, a raffle and refreshments.
The flower festival will be open 10.30am to 5pm, from Saturday August 23 to Monday August 25.
