The event, which took place at Normanston Park, was organised by East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) as they look to raise money for their Nook appeal.

Participants undertook a two-mile fun run whilst being showered with clouds of coloured powder paint, resulting in a dazzling and vibrant scene.

Nearly 500 people took part in the dash, which was making its debut in Lowestoft having previously been held in numerous locations across the region.

Tal Williams, EACH Norfolk community fundraiser, said: “Everyone was really excited for the event and the day went really well.

“Already we’ve had people telling us how much they’re looking forward to next year’s event.”

EACH is looking to construct a purpose-built facility, ‘The Nook’, which will offer the very best in care and support for children suffering with life-threatening conditions.
