Firefighters spent more than 30 minutes tackling a shed blaze that had spread to “surrounding conifers” in Lowestoft.

Two crews from Lowestoft South fire station were called out about 5pm today following reports of a shed fire in Westland Road.

A brigade spokesman said that on arrival “two sheds and surrounding conifers were well alight”.

Firefighters quickly put out the flames and the scene was clear by 5.37pm.
