Firefighters were called to tackle a blaze at a home in Norwich in the early hours of this morning.
Crews from Carrow, Earlham, Sprowston and Hethersett stations attended the kitchen fire just after 5.30am in St Benedicts Street.
They spent 45 minutes at the scene and crews wearing breathing apparatus sets used hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.
A positive pressure fan was also employed to clear the smoke from the property. They left the scene at 6.15am.
