Firefighters tackle blaze in derelict building in Dereham

Firefighters were called to battle a blaze in a derelict building in Dereham tonight.

Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service crews were called at around 7.15pm to the building on Nunn’s Way.

Appliances were called from Dereham, Hingham, Sprowston and Earlham as well as an aerial ladder platform.

Crews extinguished the fire using hydrant, hose reel jets and breathing apparatus.
