Firefighters were called to help rescue a boy who got stuck in railings in Norwich this evening.

One fire crew from Earlham was called to the scene at Ivy Road, in Earlham, shortly after 5pm after the boy had trapped one of his legs in some railings.

A Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said that firefighters were quickly able to free the boy.

The spokesman also said that no ambulance was needed at the scene.
