The one-vehicle collision involving a blue Vauxhall Astra happened on Green Lane West, at the junction with Salhouse Road, at about 10.45am.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said a man in his 20s was found to be unconscious but breathing and was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

The spokesman said the man’s injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.

Following the crash diversions were put in place while the road was blocked. The car was recovered and the road was cleared by 12.15pm.

One fire crew from Sprowston and one crew from Wroxham attended the scene, and firefighters were at the scene for about 40 minutes.
