A Norwich fire crew had to be called out at this morning following reports of someone stuck in a lift.

The Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service received the call at around 10.35am today (Saturday) after a person was reported to be stuck in a lift at a building on St Stephen’s Street.

However, the occupant of the lift managed to get out before the arrival of the brigade from Carrow, who were later stood down.
