Firefighters were called to a number of incidents of cars crashing in icy conditions on Tuesday morning.

The first incident was a crash involving two cars in Grove Road, Old Buckenham at 9.30am and firefighters from East Harling and Attleborough were called to make the vehicles safe.

The second incident involved a car crashing into a ditch in Mellis Road, Burgate shortly before 10am and firefighters from Diss and Ixworth released two casualties and took them to hospital.

The third incident was shortly before 11am in Durbridges Hill, Burston and was also a car crashed into a ditch. Fire crews from Diss were also called to the incident and helped to release a man from the car using ladders.
