Flames were reported shooting through the roof of a north Suffolk property earlier today during a fire which needed crews from four stations to contain.

Firefighters from Eye, Diss, Stradbroke and Ipswich East were called to deal with the blaze in Buckshorn Lane, Eye shortly after 1pm today.

The incident had been brought under control by 2.37pm, but some firefighters remained at the scene. There were no reports of any casualties.
