Fire crews called to deliberate car fire in Brandon


Firefighters were called to a car fire in Elizabeth Road, Brandon, at 4.20am today.

One crew from the town’s fire station went to the incident and, wearing breathing apparatus, extinguished the blaze using one hose reel.

The cause of the fire is thought to be deliberate and Suffolk Constabulary has been informed.

Brandon firefighters were back at base by 5.17am.
