Fire crews called to deal with Norfolk road crashes

Firefighters were called to deal with two road crashes in Norfolk this evening.
The first incident took place in Barrack Street, Norwich shortly before 6pm and involved two vehicles. Firefighters from Sprowston and Carrow were called to release one person from a vehicle, though the road did not have to be closed.
The second incident was a one vehicle crash at Norwich Common in Wymondham shortly after 6pm and needed the attendance of a fire engine from Hethersett.
The crews gave a casualty first aid before handing over to ambulance crews, but the road did not have to be closed. They had finished at the scene by 6.40pm
