A petrol station on the outskirts of Norwich has been closed today, following a fire in the office at the main building.
Fire crews from Carrow, Earlham, Sprowston and Hethersett were called to the Shell petrol station at the Thickthorn interchange at about 6.15am.
The crews wore breathing apparatus and used hose reel jets to extinguish. PPVwas also used to clear the property of residual smoke.
Fire investigators were still at the scene nearly 12 hours later, but the cause of the blaze is unknown.
A spokesman for the Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service said there had been a fire in the office/shop, but no one was reported injured.
