Fire-fighters tackle ‘deliberate’ motorbike blaze in Lowestoft

Fire-fighters from Lowestoft quickly dealt with a suspicious motorbike blaze in the town.

A crew from Lowestoft South fire station were alerted following a series of calls about the motorbike, which was ablaze at the back of properties in Park Road and Melbourne Road in Lowestoft.

They were called out just after 3.30am this morning (Saturday) and after arriving on the scene at 3.45am, where they found the motorbike ablaze, they quickly put out the flames and had returned to base by 4am.

A brigade spokesman said: “The incident is believed to be deliberate and Suffolk police have been informed.”
