Drivers are being warned to expect delays after a road traffic collision involving three vehicles on the A140 near Pulham Market.
Fire crews from Long Stratton, Harleston and Diss were called to the scene at 7.03pm today.
They released one person using hydraulic rescue equipment.
They also made the vehicles and surrounding area safe and gave casualty care.
A police spokesman, tweeting from the @NorfolkPolice account, wrote: 'A140 closed between Pulham Market and Long Stratton, diversions in place via Starston. Please take care on the roads'
The ambulance service was also in attendance.
