Missing Beccles man Mark Pease

The fiancée of a missing Beccles man has spoken of her increasing concern about his safety.

Shannon Rivers is due to marry Mark Pease in 2014 and the couple should have celebrated their anniversary yesterday.

Mr Pease, 33, was last seen at his home in Noels Walk last Thursday evening around 10pm and was reported missing the following night.

Miss Rivers, who lives in Norwich, said she last saw Mr Pease at about 1.30pm on Thursday and spoke to him about 9pm. When the 24-year-old tried to contact him the following day she was unable to.

She said: “Everything was like normal. He didn’t seem out of sorts and this is completely out of character. It’s really not normal for him not to be in touch with anybody. If he’s not in touch with me he would have been with his dad. It’s been five days now and we are all really worried about him.

“We just want him to know that there are alot of people who care about him and we all love him. We just want him to come home. It’s really important that if anyone has any information to get in touch.”

Mr Pease is described as white, around 6ft 4ins, with sandy blonde hair.

A spokesman for Suffolk Police said: “Suffolk Police are becoming increasingly concerned for missing 33-year-old man, Mark Pease. Officers have conducted a number of enquiries and searches to try to trace Mr Pease to no avail. We are renewing our appeal to the public to help us and would ask people to call Suffolk Police on 101 if they have seen him, or know of his whereabouts.”

• Miss Rivers has set up a Facebook group to ask people to help find Mr Pease and she is also circulating posters across Norfolk and Suffolk,
