A Norwich father and his two sons have teamed up with friends to take on a 100-mile charity cycle challenge.

William Payton, 74, from Norwich, and his sons, James, 43, and Thomas, 25, will be riding through London on July 30 to support Ormiston Families.

The charity aims to improve the life chances of children, young people and families in East Anglia.

In order to raise money for the organisation, the trio will set off from the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London and through to the Surrey Countryside.

Mr Payton's son, James, who works as a bank manager at HSBC, said: 'It's a real family affair, we are all keen cyclists but it was my father and his weekend cycling companions, Matthew Bradbury and David Kingsley that encouraged us to sign up to Ride London.'
