Keith Tutt, who lives near Hingham, is exhibiting 21 oil paintings and one clay head at Wymondham Arts Centre until Sunday (September 3).

Mr Tutt, 57, said he was proud of the collection, which also includes a portrait of The Last King of Scotland novelist Giles Foden, as well as some landscapes and a copy of a 1521 work by Hans Holbein.

He said: 'The exhibition marks the fulfilment of a promise I made to myself to return to painting fully before I got to 60. I'm very keen to develop my portrait painting career. I really want to portray both the likeness and the energy of a person in a way that is both revealing and compassionate.'

Mr Tutt's works can also be seen online at keithtuttpaintings.comThe arts centre is open daily 10am-5pm.
