A family was evacuated from their Thetford home overnight after a nearby barn caught fire.
The fire at one of the Abbey Barns in Monksgate started at about 11.30pm last night.
Two fire crews from Thetford and one from East Harling attended the scene and used hose reel jets and compressed air foam to put out the fire.
A Norfolk Fire And Rescue Service spokesman said a cordon was set up as there were concerns that cylinders were believed to be in the building, and that one family was evacuated from their home near the barn as a precaution.
The fire service spokesman said the fire was under control by just after midnight and that the family that was evacuated was allowed to return to their home after about 2.15am.
