Fans of ex-professional footballers and reality TV stars jostled for pole position to watch a charity football match at Fakenham Town’s ground.
Ex-players Paul Konchesky and Marlon Harewood were among the stars as well as the brothers Ryan and Rossi Jarvis, who are from Fakenham.
Former Towie TV star Dan Osborne travelled from Bexley in Kent to take part in the match.
The event was the third charity match organised by City College Norwich student Harry Cottenden, 18, who founded the team, Help Delete Cancer FC, to take part.
This year’s event on Sunday, April 8 was held in aid of Macmillan.
A bumper crowd welcomed the teams onto the pitch and a minute’s silence was held before kick-off in memory of Ray Wilkins, the former Chelsea and Manchester United star, who died on April 4.
Mr Cottenden said: “The first game only started at 1pm and we had raised £1,000, half of the fundraising target, by then. We were on course to raise the whole amount, but I don’t know the final total.
“All the people I asked to come, came, plus a few others, despite the rain and cold weather, which I was happy about.”
He started the charity matches in 2016 and raised money for two other cancer charities on previous occasions.
“I always like to help people and I also like football,” he added.
The teenager’s team, Help Delete Cancer FC, were pitted against Macmillan FC at 1pm, and AFC Macmillan at 3pm.
Ryan Jarvis wrote himself into the Norwich City history books on April 19, 2003 when his appearance as substitute at Walsall meant that he was the youngest ever player to play for the first team, aged just 16 years and 282 days.
Paul Konchesky played for Charlton Athletic, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United, Fulham, Liverpool, Nottingham Forest, Queens Park Rangers, and Leicester City. Marlon Harewood started his career at Nottingham Forest and played for West Ham United and then Aston Villa.
