A musical rainbow is set to be performed when the Norwich Pride parade takes to the city's streets tomorrow - and everyone is invited to join in the fun.

The Sing with Pride choir has created a new song with singer-songwriter Kimberley Moore especially for the parade. After premiering it at St Margaret's Church of Art on Thursday, Sing with Pride is encouraging everyone to join them in song on the parade.

Steve Lunniss, chair of Sing with Pride said: 'We can't wait to fill the city's streets with song. We mightn't be as loud as the Norwich Samba band at the front of the Parade but we hope to give Pride-goers and Parade-watchers something really special to enjoy.'

Members of the Octagon Unitarian Chapel, in Colegate, will be singing with Sing with Pride today, as will the Proud Canaries who hope to regularly break into song with On the Ball City, and Kimberley Moore will be playing guitar.

Everyone is welcome to join in - the choir will be handing out song sheets and people are also encouraged to bring percussion instruments.

Sing with Pride is the choir from the LGBT community for everyone. The group will have a stall in Chapelfield Gardens tomorrow where they will be selling hand-made jewellery, and cakes and savouries to raise funds for the choir. Visit www.singwithpride.org.uk
