Norwich Cathedral's fourth and final peregrine falcon chick has made its maiden flight.

Officials from the Hawk and Owl Trust said the chick successfully fledged today (Tuesday, June 10) at 4.31pm.

It was later seen by falcon watchers in the same area of the cathedral building as its three other siblings and looked to be none the worse for making its first ever flight.

Visitors to the trust's watch point at the cathedral can get good views of the chicks now and for the next couple of months as they learn to fly properly and hunt for themselves.

The adult peregrines have successfully raised offspring at the cathedral for the last three years.

The watch point at Norwich Cathedral is open seven days a week from 10am.
