Dereham Society has called off planting of more than 400 saplings on Neatherd Moor today due to the bad weather.
A new date will be fixed for the work.
The trees are part of a long-term plan to improve the diversity and range of fauna and wildlife in the area from the moor to Etling Green, improve the views for walkers, and help incorporate more fully the 44 acres Dereham Town Council has bought over the past 18 months.
If you want more information on the project, contact Philip Morton on 01362 696758 or email philbrig333@googlemail.com.
Terrorism returned to the streets of London today as two suspected Muslim fanatics butchered a man in broad daylight in the name of “Allah”.

Why has the town council acquired this land, from whom, and is there a connection to the 66 per cent increase in council tax they are waging against residents of the town?
