When Rosie Barrett was holidaying along the north Norfolk coast, she captured a rare and rather beautiful sight.

These pictures show a kingfisher - a notoriously difficult bird to photograph - caught in the snow at Blakeney Point.

And the image is even more unusual - the boat featured in the shots also has Rosie's name.

Rosie, from Essex, says Norfolk is her favourite holiday destination and was staying in East Ruston.

'I am still so thrilled with the shots, I was so lucky!' she said.
