Contemporary buildings across Norfolk have been inspiring people to get creative with their cameras and enter a photography competition celebrating architecture.

The competition is being run by the Festival of Architecture Norwich and Norfolk (FANN15) and our iWitness24 photosharing website, and people have until September 28 to take part. As these pictures show, the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts and Westlegate Tower in Norwich are among the buildings that have been captured on camera by entrants so far.

Paul Dickson, from FANN15, said: “We have been very impressed with the photographs that have been submitted, and we hope the competition will encourage even more photographers to get out and about in Norfolk and take pictures of their favourite pieces of contemporary architecture.”

The competition is for amateur photographers. People can submit up to four images and the deadline is September 28. Entries can be submitted via Twitter using the hashtag #FANN15 or via iWitness24 at www.iwitness24.co.uk

Entries submitted via iWitness24 should be marked “FANN15 photography competition”.

There will be an exhibition of the finalists’ photographs at the Forum on October 4-11, and visitors can vote for their favourite. The winner’s prize will be a one-night stay at the Maids Head Hotel in Norwich.

FANN15 will take place from October 4 until November 10. Visit www.fann.org.uk
