Emergency services and council officials have held a multi-agency conference in Hemsby following the erosion that has led to 11 homes being evacuated.
The situation concerning the homes on the clifftop Marrams is being monitored but emergency planners may have to wait for high tide to subside to get a proper assessment.
11 homes have been evacuated with up to three teetering on the edge of the cliffs.
It is hoped some residents may be allowed back to gather personal belongings later today once an assessment has been carried out.
Hemsby lifeboat man Chris Batten said the volunteer crew had been phenomenal in their efforts and the community had rallied around, with food donations being sent in by businesses.
