A European eagle owl has gone missing and is believed to have been stolen.
The bird disappeared from a back garden at a property in Tunn Street, Fakenham some time between 3am and 8.45am this morning.
The owl, which is brown in colour and fully grown, has been with its owner for around a year.
Police officers are keen to speak to anyone who believes they may have seen the bird which, if set free, could have travelled a significant distance by now.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Paul Scarborough at Fakenham Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
