Arsonists targeted two farms in Norfolk villages over the weekend.

The first incident took place in Chalk Lane, Snetterton between 11.30am on Friday and 4.20am on Saturday after getting in through an unlocked side door and setting 200 tonnes of straw bales on fire, causing damage to the barn and a straw bailer and destroying a grass baler.

The second incident took place at Manor Farm, Eccles between 3pm on Friday and 7.30am on Saturday when an arsonist broke into a locked container and setting it alight, destroying a black 50 cc Gilera motorbike was destroyed. A tractor battery was stolen, while farming tools, water fittings and fence wiring were destroyed.
